World Village Artisans
World Village Artisans was founded by Isabella Centofanti, a teacher, artist, and world traveller. After travelling extensively to Nepal, India, South America and parts of Africa, Isabella realized the need to help promote the beautiful hand-made crafts created by locals, and in turn, advocate for the growth of these often economically challenged people.
World Village Artisan's mission is to improve the lives of these artisans. It partners only with those who live true to the fair trade philosophy: Addressing the injustices of conventional trade, which traditionally discriminates against the poorest, weakest producers. Promoting decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms for farmers, workers, and artisans in the developing world.
We invite you to visit our website often, as we are always adding new products from around the globe.
